Uptown Kid Lit 2020 (Virtual)
Uptown Kid Lit was originally conceived as a one-day children's book festival for the Uptown community. In 2019, our first year, we held the fest on a sunny day on Pat's Lawn in Inwood Hill Park, welcoming 27 authors, a dozen community groups, and 1,000+ kids and their familes. In 2020, Uptown Kid Lit has been reimagined as virtual programming throughout the summer: We have 6-day-a-week programming for our littlest readers; a virtual summer camp, for which we have teamed up with a dozen Uptown arts and culture organizations to run 7 camps throughout July, for ages 3–18; and a book club for youth ages 13-25. Special events punctuate this regular prorgramming. We hope to see you this summer at #UptownKidLit at #WordUpBooks!

Find the livestream by following People's Theater Project or follow us on Facebook to watch it with us on August 6th, at 5pm.
We look forward to seeing our campers and their families for this closing event.
